TRANSFER NEWS!!!!!

 

I am having mixed feelings about this transfers transfer news.....I am staying here. And sister bennett is leaving me :(. I am super happy that I get to be here and stay in beautiful grand junction but my heart is breaking because I don't think I'm ready to be away from Sister Bennett. I love her so much. We have had the best/fastest transfer EVER!!!! I think it is because we had too much fun. Aw man, it is heart breaking. But I do love my area SO much. I love the people we teach SO much and I'm glad i don't have to be separated from them yet.

We had the absolute BEST week ever!! We had a baptism!!! Jaden Jensen, age 12 got baptized this saturday. It was so beautiful. The spirit was so strong and you will never guess what I did........I sang in the musical number!! What the?! I know I know, sister jones sings??? I made sister bennett practise with me THE ENTIRE week because I was soooo nervous! The elders, sister bennett and I sang "I know my redeemer lives" to the tune of "A poor wayfaring man of grief." We sang it acapela! It sounded so good! Wow, I was super impressed. That was seriously the first time ever, I have sang with less than 20 people for a musical number. Sister Bennett and I recorded ourselves singing it this morning. So if you are lucky (and if it works on the computer) I might send it to you guys haha.

Halloween was pretty awesome! We were able to do quite a bit of service. We organized the christmas decorations at Habitat for Humanity (it's like a goodwill) and we sang for people at the nursing home. It was SO great!!!

We also were able to get 25 lessons with 12 member presents this week!!!!! Member present is when we have a lesson with a member there. Some times it is really hard to cordinate having a member there, but we had awesome sucess with that this week!
